About The Position

The University of Nevada, Reno is seeking applications for a Coordinator, Administration and Fiscal Support Services. This position provides direct administrative, operational, and fiscal support to the Assistant Vice President for Student Services Budget and Financial Planning and supports budget and financial operations across the Student Services division. Responsibilities include overseeing, reviewing, and ensuring the accurate completion and submission of budgetary and financial transactions generated within the Student Services function. In addition, this role provides executive-level administrative support to the Assistant Vice President for Student Services Budget and Financial Planning and the Assistant Vice President for Campus Living and Learning, ensuring effective coordination of divisional priorities and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and two (2) years of related work experience OR Master’s Degree and one (1) year of related work experience
  • Related Experience: Accounting, budgeting, business operations or related experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of budget tracking, purchasing, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reconciliation processes.
  • Experience supporting multiple departments or functional areas with varying funding sources and operational needs.
  • Familiarity with public-sector financial policies, procurement rules, travel regulations, and internal controls.
  • Experience with Workday
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines, and confidential information.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and documentation to support audits and leadership decision-making.
