About The Position

Overview Scope of Position: Collaborate with the Operations team to c reate, implement, and evaluate year-round and summer operational systems, processes, and strategies in order to cre ate an excellent camp experience for all participants . Provides logistical support to the full-time team. Serve as a member of the Summer Leadership Team and p rovides leadership to th e operations team at one summer camp location. Reports to: Team Leader, Camps Operations WinShape Foundation is a Biblically-based Christian non-profit organization that seeks to glorify God by creating transformational, Christ-centered experiences for people in every stage of life. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience .
This role requires gender-specific tasks during the summer that require female representatives. This includes:
Ability to interact with campers within the living quarters
Cabin supervision
Delicate gender specific conversations with campers, staff and parents
Experience in project management .
Demonstrates skills in written and verbal communication, time-management , organization, and multi-tasking .
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs .
Willing to relocate to a WinShape Camps for Girls location in the summer .
Maintain regular office hours at the WinShape Camps office in Atlanta during the non-camp season and engage in moderate travel throughout the year (10-20% ).
A self-professing Christ follower, actively involved in a Christian faith community and actively pursuing Christ on a consistent basis.
Must hold or obtain a valid driver’s license for the state in which they are hired and have an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Serve s as a member of the Summer Leadership Team at one WinShape Camps for Girls location.
Creates, implements, and evaluates operational systems and processes focused on, but not limited to, inventory management, pre- and post-summer campus transition, year-round project management, opening and closing day logistics , day-to-day camp operations, and procurement of equipment.
Develops, implements, and upholds a summer campus emergency action plan to ensure the safety of all participants and staff.
Collaborate s with camp location food service provider to develop the camp menu, ensure safety of participants with dietary restrictions, and create an enjoyable experience in the dining facility .
Serve s as a collaborative member of a Summer Leadership Team to provide input on camp-specific logistics and make decisions that positively impact campers, families, and summer staff at one camp location .
Serve s as the primary contact for your WinShape C amps for Girls location partner , hosting regular planning, evaluation, and relationship-building meetings .
Hires, trains, develops, and supervises Operations Summer Staff at the camp location in partnership with the Operations Team Leader. The staff typically includes one direct report in the summer and a total Operations Summer Staff of anywhere from two to four people depending on the specific camp location.
Serve s as the point person for all camp store responsibilities focused on, but not limited to vendor relationships, inventory management, and equipment stewardship.
Assist s with the creation of operations budget lines related to the summer camp location and monitor expenses to insure fiscal responsibility.
Prepare s training materials and facilitates training sessions for Operations Summer Staff during staff training events .
Contributes to camp-wide success through serving on work teams and serving with other camp support teams when needed.
Represents WinShape Camps on occasional recruiting trips to help fill our Summer Staff needs.

Attend WinShape Foundation gatherings and events, including but not limited to the ONE Conference, Fall Rally, town halls, and other meetings as communicated by the leadership team.
