About The Position

Provides professional analytical support to the Gas Supply Measurement function by reviewing, validating, and interpreting natural gas measurement data from field instrumentation and electronic systems. Applies technical judgment to identify anomalies, recommend corrective actions, and ensure volumetric data integrity used in operational decision-making, financial settlement, and regulatory reporting.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in gas operations, gas control, measurement, allocations, or related technical/accounting roles.
  • Foundational understanding of natural gas measurement or ability to develop technical proficiency.
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to follow structured procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer use.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze measurement data and identify anomalies.
  • Able to operate a personal computer, either desktop or laptop.
  • Able to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Able to operate a copy machine, fax machine, calculator, telephone and other miscellaneous office equipment.
  • Able to exert up to 10 Lbs. of force occasionally, and /or a minimal amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push or otherwise move objects.
  • Able to work regular hours, with occasional overtime.
  • The ability to comprehend, document, calculate, visualize and analyze are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in engineering technology, energy systems, or related technical discipline
  • Familiarity with data systems or field instrumentation

Responsibilities

  • Independently review and interpret measurement data from electronic flow meters and city gate stations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyze measurement data to identify anomalies and determine appropriate corrective actions or escalation.
  • Perform exception analysis within eLynx and FLOWCAL to identify data integrity issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Analyze LUFG variance trends and provide findings to support measurement performance reviews.
  • Maintain measurement documentation in an audit-ready condition and ensure compliance with internal standards.
  • Coordinate with field personnel to validate meter testing schedules and configuration updates.
  • Support maintenance of standardized measurement configurations under established governance.
  • Provide data extracts and volume summaries to internal stakeholders with appropriate validation.
  • Apply established measurement standards to validate volumetric data prior to billing and settlement processes.
  • Assist in maintaining measurement data integrity within FLOWCAL, eLynx, and related systems.
