Copy Center Technician – JLL What this job involves: The Copy Center Technician is a vital support role that ensures JLL delivers professional, high-quality materials to clients and internal teams. You'll operate sophisticated printing equipment and manage comprehensive document services including copying, binding, book production with tabs, enveloping, and recall management. Additionally, you'll handle specialized kitting operations for business development initiatives and create training and manual kits. This position combines technical expertise with customer service excellence, making you an essential part of JLL's operational success while working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and efficiency drive results.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years' experience in commercial printing, copying, warehouse, fulfillment, or assembly operations
  • Proficiency with print production software and digital file formats
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to work under deadline pressure
  • Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management systems and order processing
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with reliable attendance record

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with wide-format printing, graphics production, and bindery equipment operations
  • Knowledge of finishing techniques, binding methods, and packaging best practices for fragile materials
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, shipping software, and carrier management systems
  • Experience in corporate marketing, business development support, or event support environments
  • Understanding of color calibration and print quality management processes

Responsibilities

  • Operate high-volume digital presses, wide-format plotters, and finishing equipment to produce professional documents, presentations, and marketing materials
  • Execute binding operations and create books with tabs, manage enveloping services, and process document recalls as needed
  • Assemble and package customized material kits for business development activities, training programs, and manual distributions according to detailed specifications
  • Perform quality control inspections on all printed materials, bound documents, and kit components, troubleshooting equipment issues and maintaining consistent output standards
  • Manage inventory levels of printing supplies, binding materials, and kit components, conducting cycle counts and coordinating restocking with vendors
  • Process work orders efficiently while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining accurate production records for all copy center services
  • Interface with internal departments and clients to understand project requirements, provide status updates, and recommend cost-effective solutions across all service offerings
