About The Position

The CORE Wellness Supervisor leads day-to-day peer wellness operations across assigned Community Wellness Center sites. This role ensures service delivery quality, documentation compliance, staff performance, and contract-aligned outcomes. The Supervisor sets the tone for accountability, professionalism, and recovery-oriented practice.

Requirements

  • Peer Certification
  • Lived experience aligned with peer support values (preferred) and demonstrated commitment to recovery-oriented practice.
  • Minimum 2 years leadership experience and at least 1 year direct supervisory experience (staff and/or volunteers).
  • Minimum 2 years direct service experience in behavioral health, peer support, outreach, or related human services.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills and ability to coach performance in real time.
  • Ability to analyze operational data and translate it into clear expectations and action plans.
  • Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and ability to use EHR/data systems reliably.
  • Valid California driver license and proof of auto insurance.
  • Successful completion of DOJ background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading peer-certified teams in a Medi-Cal or county-funded program environment.
  • Training in crisis de-escalation, Motivational Interviewing, and group facilitation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily operational oversight of CORE peer service delivery across assigned sites.
  • Supervise Peer Wellness Mentors, including scheduling, coverage planning, coaching, and performance management.
  • Run daily huddles and ensure staff are prepared for program operations, groups, and engagement activities.
  • Monitor documentation quality and timeliness in the EHR and any required systems; correct issues immediately and escalate persistent problems.
  • Monitor service delivery metrics and unit expectations; review dashboards weekly and implement corrective action plans to address gaps.
  • Ensure 90-day outreach and 180-day discharge workflows are implemented consistently and documented in the EHR.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and competency development of peer staff, including tracking peer certification timelines (90 days).
  • Coordinate with TPCP site leadership and support departments through CORE leadership as needed to maintain operations.
  • Respond to incidents and safety issues; ensure incident reports are completed accurately and on time.
  • Provide direct peer services as needed to maintain coverage and support participant needs.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with community partners and represent the program professionally.
  • Other duties as assigned.
