About The Position

As a Road America Corner Worker, you will be an integral part of the Track Services Team and will work in and around a 4-mile racetrack providing necessary services to race teams and drivers who use the track. An interest or other experience in motor sports and racing is preferred, but training for the duties of the track will be provided for the right candidates.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Have physical and mental ability to work in potentially hazardous areas
• Must be able to sit, stand, talk, hear and use hands for manipulative tasks
• Be able to work in various outside weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license
• Good visual acuity

Responsibilities

• Observe cars/bikes on racetrack and report information to race control
• Attend to drivers needing help
• Assist Safety Team as needed
• Clean up debris and small spills
• Display various racing flags
• Use radios for communication
