Job Purpose The Marshal is responsible for patrolling the golf course and keeping a steady pace of play for members and guests. The Marshal serves as a resource to others by answering questions and addressing concerns with management in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Experience in a customer service-oriented environment, preferably in the golf/hospitality/service industry
- Must be able to operate golf carts and other machinery safely
- Ability to communicate effectively with members, co-workers and management
- Valid driver’s license required
- High school diploma or GED
Responsibilities
- Acknowledge, greet and thank all members and guests
- Maximize course utilization by managing pace of play
- Enforcing course rules for members and guests
- Maintain member safety by providing assistance on the course
- Implement and support all AGC initiatives and programs as requested by management
- Other duties may be assigned by management
