Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelors Degree in Business, Risk Management or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2-3 years insurance/claims adjusting and administration experience
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage general liability claims submissions process for assigned states. May include pre-acquisition Pratte Holding and Pratte Building Systems legacy claims and/or new claims.
  • Direct Division and TPA/carriers on claims issues and administration.
  • Responsible for reconciliation of Corporate and Division insurance receivables and Gallagher-Bassett/insurance carrier payments for assigned states.
  • Identify and resolve reimbursement issues as needed.
  • Monitor, track and allocate trade/carrier loss recoveries for assigned states. Report monthly on recoveries received.
  • Participate in completion of technical projects and provide department support as needed.
  • May administer PulteGroup workers’ compensation claims, including legacy Del Webb, DiVosta, Centex and Pratte claims.
  • May manage all PulteGroup auto, builders’ risk and property claims as assigned.
  • Advise Division on claims, develop resolution strategy with TPA/Carries and provide settlement authority as necessary.
  • May assist with GL excess/reinsurance claims documentation and reporting.
  • May be responsible for processing departmental and captive insurance company payables.
  • May be responsible for ensuring department compliance with Corporate record retention program
