About The Position

This position is responsible for managing and expanding the YMCA's corporate partnership programs, promoting corporate memberships, and fostering strong relationships with businesses and community organizations. This role aims to enhance corporate engagement, support workplace wellness initiatives, and promote the YMCA's mission and services within the community. The Corporate Coordinator collaborates closely with the Membership and Marketing teams to drive strategic growth and outreach. CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION: I will support the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region’s commitment to child abuse prevention by: Report any suspicious behavior and violation of policy and procedures to your supervisor Following all policies and procedures related to keeping children safe in our facilities and programs, including those related to the monitoring and supervision of children Completing all child abuse prevention training as required Reporting any items that may provide a health or safety hazard to staff, members or guests to your supervisor. The YMCA has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse. We will report all suspected and/or alleged abuse to the relevant state and federal authorities.

Requirements

  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • Minimum of two years of experience in sales, corporate relations, business development, or community outreach.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with corporate clients and community stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Passion for the YMCA mission and values.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed for events and outreach.
  • Complete Hazardous Communications, Managing Your Risk of Exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens, and Child Sexual Abuse Prevention training every year
  • Maintain CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer every year
  • Maintain First Aid and administer emergency Oxygen every two years
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally (e.g., setting up for events, carrying promotional materials).
  • Ability to travel locally to attend meetings, events, and corporate partner locations.
  • Ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Capacity to handle multiple tasks, deadlines, and competing priorities.
  • Comfortable working with diverse populations and managing sensitive or confidential information.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in high-pressure or conflict situations.

  • Experience with CRM systems and membership management software preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Corporate Partnership Development: Identify and establish relationships with local businesses to promote YMCA corporate membership programs and wellness initiatives. Develop customized partnership proposals and coordinate corporate membership enrollment and onboarding processes.
  • Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and ongoing engagement. Maintain accurate records of corporate partner activity and communications using appropriate CRM membership systems.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the Marketing Department to develop promotional materials and campaigns targeted at corporate audiences. Plan and implement onsite wellness visits, health fairs, and information sessions at corporate partner locations.
  • Program Collaboration: Coordinate with internal departments to ensure corporate members have access to appropriate programs and services. Facilitate connections between corporate partners and relevant YMCA departments (e.g., youth programs, wellness, volunteer opportunities).
  • Reporting and Evaluation: Track and report on corporate membership metrics and engagement levels. Analyze trends and provide recommendations to improve corporate outreach strategies.
  • Program Planning: Organize and attend corporate-focused events, appreciation activities, and community engagement opportunities. Represent the YMCA at business expos, chamber events, and local networking functions.
  • Mission Advancement: Promote the YMCA’s cause and actively support its mission, values, and community impact efforts. Encourage philanthropic involvement from corporate partners when appropriate.
