About The Position

Our Corporate Development team leads the charge on strategic initiatives that shape Gen’s future — from M&A and investments to strategic partnerships and competitive analysis. We are seeking a high-performing Corporate Development Intern to join our team for Summer 2026. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on high-impact projects that inform Gen’s long-term growth strategy.

Requirements

• Rising senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; comfortable with Excel, PowerPoint, and market research
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
• High degree of intellectual curiosity and a passion for technology, cybersecurity, and fintech

Nice To Haves

• Prior internship experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, venture capital, or corporate strategy a plus

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, competitors, and emerging trends to inform Gen’s expansion strategy
• Assist with live M&A and investment activities, including financial modeling, company profiling, and due diligence
• Develop presentations and memos for executive leadership and board discussions
• Collaborate across business units (Product, Finance, Legal, Marketing) to execute strategic initiatives
• Contribute to strategic projects, including evaluating build vs. buy vs. partner decisions
• Identify opportunities to enhance internal workflows and team efficiency
