About The Position

Performs management and supervisory functions in all facets of facility, support services, and maintenance management. Supervises facility and support services staff to include scheduling day-to-day activities, performance evaluations, and wage administration. Supervises and directs Facility Staff including, but not limited to: assigns and directs work, provides on the job training and coaching, monitors quality, quantity and service, evaluates performance and compensation. Audits building operations and ensures that the physical facilities are safety compliant as necessary on weekends. Manages and oversees overall supply chain operations, including purchasing and inventory of materials as well as selection of vendors. Completes any other job related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization’s Values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of facility management supervisory experience or general contracting experience with a strong background in facilities maintenance and construction.
  • Able to plan and execute all aspects of renovation from the planning stage to completion.
  • Will climb ladders unassisted up to 24 feet; and when required to, inspect roofs from 2 to 6 stories in height.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and leadership abilities to motivate employees and develop a cohesive team of committed employees to perform in a high-volume environment.
  • Independent thinking, self-motivation, and problem solving to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and achieve production and performance goals set by Management.
