About The Position

We are seeking a Creative Director with extensive marketing and brand experience. This leader will direct the visual experience across the CorePower Yoga website and all channels. You will be responsible for creative direction that maximizes engagement, tells the stories of our products, drives conversion, and amplifies our brand. You will manage freelance copywriters, designers, and video editors to produce high-level work. The ideal candidate will have a track record for delivering bar-raising digital work. You will drive and manage how the CorePower Yoga brand comes to life in digital and e-commerce experiences, studio touchpoints, and help our website evolve to the next level. This role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience leading creative, exhibiting thoughtful leadership in creative and ecommerce and digital design trends (in-house or at an agency)
  • 3+ years of management experience leading design teams
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in related field or equivalent professional experience
  • An outstanding portfolio that showcases your expertise and fit for this role
  • Experience as a creative director for a top-tier brand who takes initiative and thrives in a fastmoving, results-driven environment
  • Deep expertise working on mobile-first, responsive websites; thinks about the user experience when designing digital
  • Experience implementing visual design systems for websites, including code-based design systems and style guides (working knowledge of Figma)
  • Demonstrated ability to guide, develop and retain a team of freelancers, set goals, delegate responsibilities, hold teams accountable for outcomes, and provide feedback
  • Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter with proven ability to develop and execute high-impact creative strategies
  • Incredible eye for detail and obsessively meticulous

Responsibilities

  • Oversee creative digital direction and the look & feel for the CorePower Yoga website and app, as well as design experiences across channels (print, web, email, social, paid)
  • Lead and develop a team of designers and copywriters in providing leadership and rolling up your sleeves to get things done
  • Oversee copy development across campaigns and ongoing assets on a weekly basis
  • Lead brainstorming and creative sessions to generate ideas that drive compelling digital e-commerce experiences that will delight our customers and drive conversion
  • Direct and elevate the brand voice and visual system for CorePower Yoga, including page templates, modules, typography, color, and design patterns
  • Partner with stakeholders on creative that elevates campaigns, product launches and evolutions, content updates, and creative asset production
  • Help manage outside digital agencies and ensure CorePower Yoga is accurately and effectively represented as a brand
  • Work closely with the Marketing, Digital and Product team to ensure there is always a harmonious integration of the brand into digital experiences, creating a seamless connection across all touchpoints
  • Use a metrics and research-driven approach to analyze, create, and evangelize design strategy to internal partners across various departments and levels
  • Manage photo and video shoots and partner with creatives to elevate brand assets
  • Stay on top of the latest trends in channel-specific designs and best practices
