About The Position

The Creative Operations Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the day-to-day execution of creative work in a high-volume consumer marketing environment. This role ensures creative projects move efficiently from request through delivery by providing structure, clarity, and operational rigor across workflows, resourcing, and timelines. In addition to customer-facing marketing programs, this role supports the planning and project management of foundational CGI and imagery assets. While not responsible for producing creative assets, the Creative Operations Manager brings a working knowledge of CGI and imagery workflows to ensure these assets are delivered efficiently and can be leveraged across channels and campaigns.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in creative operations, account management, or project management in a high-volume retail or agency environment.
  • Proficiency with creative project management and asset management tools (e.g., Wrike, Asana, Airtable, Workfront, Smartsheets).
  • Highly collaborative, with a track record of building alignment across creative, marketing, production, and external partners.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, able to manage competing priorities and multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to set expectations and navigate trade-offs.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving initiatives from strategy through execution.
  • Creative problem-solving and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strategic thinker with an eye for emerging trends in branding, marketing, and creative technologies.
  • Experience managing complex project plans with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and approval paths.
  • Data-informed and process-driven, with experience using metrics to improve delivery, capacity planning, and operational performance.
  • Familiarity with CGI and imagery development processes, including timelines, dependencies, reviews, and downstream usage (hands-on production experience not required).

Responsibilities

  • Manage creative projects end-to-end, from intake and scoping through execution and final delivery, ensuring timelines, requirements, and expectations are met.
  • Own creative intake, prioritization, and scheduling, balancing business urgency, scope, and available team capacity.
  • Manage day-to-day workflow and task distribution across creative disciplines to ensure work is evenly balanced and progressing as planned.
  • Review creative briefs for completeness, clarity, and prioritization, ensuring project requirements and roles (RACI) are defined and communicated.
  • Build and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and dependencies for campaigns and ongoing consumer marketing initiatives.
  • Partner with creative leads and marketing partners to clarify scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria upfront.
  • Track project status, risks, and blockers; proactively communicate updates, changes, and trade-offs to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate reviews and approvals, ensuring feedback is clear, consolidated, and delivered on schedule.
  • Work with partners and leverage historical data to forecast demand and make strategic recommendations to utilize creative resources.
  • Own and administer creative project management tools, ensuring accurate data, consistent usage, and operational hygiene.
  • Drive continuous discovery and implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency, and drive creative impact.
