About The Position

SUMMARY Dedham Savings is seeking an in-office part-time (25-30 hours per week) Credit Intern from June 8th through the end of August 2026. This position will provide an opportunity to work within the Credit Department of Dedham Savings and work with a highly skilled team to gain insight into multiple areas of the department and help with a variety of tasks and projects as needed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with data entry and maintenance of loan information with loan origination system (LOS). Review commercial credit files to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies. Support credit analysts and loan officers with financial spreading, document tracking, and covenant monitoring as necessary. Assist with tickler tracking and follow up on missing documentation to ensure file completeness. Consider this description to be the foundation of your job, not its boundaries. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required, pursuing a Associates or Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and highly organized.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products required.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
