About The Position

This contract role focuses on supporting the production and quality assurance of high-quality Math instructional materials. The contractor will work closely with curriculum leadership to translate scope and sequence decisions, standards-aligned frameworks, and instructional guidance into clear, rigorous, and classroom-ready content. The position emphasizes hands-on execution, including drafting, sequencing, reviewing, and refining materials for accuracy, coherence, and usability. You will contribute to lesson assessments, differentiation guidance, and multiple revision cycles while ensuring materials are production-ready. This role provides the opportunity to make a direct impact on educational resources that support teachers and students across diverse K–12 settings. The role is remote, flexible, and allows for engagement with multiple grade bands.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting Math curriculum development or instructional materials production
  • Familiarity with K–12 Math standards and instructional best practices
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Comfortable working under established direction rather than setting instructional strategy
  • Ability to work remotely and coordinate with distributed teams

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish language proficiency strongly preferred
  • Experience in K–12 education, education nonprofits, or district/state-facing work is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and refinement of Math curriculum units and instructional materials aligned to established scope and sequence
  • Translate director-level guidance into draft-ready instructional content, ensuring clarity and usability for teachers
  • Conduct quality reviews to ensure instructional accuracy, rigor, consistency, and alignment to standards
  • Assist with lesson-embedded assessments, differentiation guidance, and instructional scaffolds
  • Incorporate feedback across multiple revision cycles to refine materials
  • Manage formatting, version control, and documentation readiness for production
  • Collaborate with curriculum leadership and project teams to meet deadlines and maintain high standards
