About The Position

This position will support our domestic distributors, ITW sales personnel and end users by providing solutions to inquiries involving Hobart Brothers product offerings or services. Must have and maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude. Essential Functions: • Internally, collaborate with our market facing teams, warehouses, and business units to meet customer needs. • Work effectively with the business units to promote our products to distributors and customers. • Provide timely and constructive customer feedback received to the appropriate people. • Work well within the Customer Support team to identify improvement projects. • Handling phone calls, faxes and emails, quotes, product recommendations. • Customer order entry and maintenance in MS D365 as well as backorder review. • Processing customer returns. • EDI order monitoring and maintenance. • Account management for assigned accounts.

Requirements

  • Possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 5 years of directly related job experience in customer service specialization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a customer service environment where much of the role required taking in-bound phone calls.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task.
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude. Self-motivated, with a desire to help the customer find the welding solution that is right for them.
  • Ability to make sound customer-oriented decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Desire to continue to grow professionally through experiences exposure, and focused training.
  • Requires strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must be a team player who possesses an excellent attitude.

Nice To Haves

  • D365 system knowledge & order entry experience preferred.
  • Welding product and process knowledge is a plus but will train.
