This role offers a starting base salary of $15 per hour combined with additional income potential through a commission-based structure. Scout Pest Control is a fast-growing pest control company serving the Huntsville/Madison/Athens/Decatur areas. We provide our customers with an excellent, reliable, and effective pest control experience. We need a customer service/sales representative who is a great communicator, excellent at managing relationships, attentive to detail, and friendly. Customer Service/Sales Representatives primary duties are: Taking incoming calls from customers and potential customers; Selling and upselling services as appropriate; Scheduling appointments and ensuring routes are efficient; Calling new customers to welcome them to our service; Responding to text messages and emails; Preparing and reviewing paperwork; Entering and receiving payments from customers; Collections; Outbound calling/emailing/messaging to follow up with past leads. To be successful in this role, you will need to be friendly, organized, efficient, detail oriented, and an effective communicator. You will be interacting with our customers daily and having a friendly, patient, and respectful behavior is a must as you are representing our company.

Requirements

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Communicates effectively with other office staff, sales reps, technicians, and customers.
Minimum of high school diploma.
At least one year of office environment Customer Service, or one year of Sales Experience Required.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
Assist customers with product inquiries, recommendations, and sales transactions.
Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products or services.
Build and maintain lasting relationships to foster customer loyalty and repeat business.
Consistently meet or exceed sales goals to maximize your earning potential.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
Collaborate with team members to drive overall sales success and customer satisfaction.
Answers phone lines.
Ensures customers enjoy a friendly welcoming atmosphere.
Performs tasks and enters data in the Pest Control Business Software.
Assists office manager with duties as needed.
Assists in saving customers who want to cancel.
Answers sales line and sells new accounts.
Upsells additional services to existing customers where appropriate.
Follows up with customers.
Assists with ensuring that business functions run smoothly.
Assists in maintaining a positive working environment.
Other Duties as Assigned
