About The Position

Our client is a national facilities maintenance provider supporting multi-location retailers, restaurants, and commercial properties across the United States. The company specializes in coordinating real-time repairs and maintenance services—from routine fixes like plumbing and electrical work to urgent, high-impact incidents such as emergency board-ups and structural damage. At its core, the business operates as a high-speed coordination engine, connecting a nationwide network of 3,000+ technicians with clients who depend on fast, reliable service to keep their locations operational. The Customer Service Representative (CSR) serves as the frontline operator and dispatcher, responsible for ensuring that every service request—routine or urgent—is executed quickly and effectively. This is not a traditional support role. Instead, it is a logistics and coordination position where success is defined by speed, persistence, and execution. You will act as the bridge between: Clients reporting issues Technicians performing the work Internal teams tracking job completion Your primary responsibility is simple in concept but critical in execution: Ensure the right technician shows up, on time, every time.

Requirements

  • Highly proactive and persistent (comfortable “chasing” responses)
  • Strong sense of urgency and ownership
  • Calm under pressure, especially in time-sensitive situations
  • Resourceful problem-solver
  • Excellent spoken and written English (neutral or clear accent strongly preferred)
  • Experience in customer service, dispatch, logistics, or coordination roles
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • Comfortable handling high call and follow-up volume

  • Experience working with U.S.-based clients or vendors
  • Background in facilities maintenance, field services, or similar industries

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process incoming service requests from national clients
  • Identify and contact appropriate technicians within the company’s network
  • Dispatch technicians for a wide range of jobs, including: Plumbing issues (e.g., clogged toilets) Electrical repairs General maintenance (lighting, ceiling tiles, etc.) Emergency services (e.g., board-ups after property damage)
  • Proactively reach out to technicians to confirm availability
  • Follow up persistently when technicians are unresponsive
  • Source alternative technicians when primary contacts are unavailable
  • Maintain strong working relationships with vendors nationwide
  • Monitor job progress from dispatch through completion
  • Ensure technicians arrive on-site and complete work as expected
  • Handle real-time problem-solving when issues arise (delays, cancellations, emergencies)
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with technicians across the U.S.
  • Provide updates to internal teams and escalate issues when necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of job status and outcomes
