About The Position

The Customer Service Representative plays a key role in supporting daily operations by managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and resolving issues with professionalism and accuracy. This is a fully in‑office position based in Enfield, CT, with no remote work options.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent typing and data‑entry ability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast‑paced environment
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to learn and work within customer service software systems
  • 1–3 years of office or customer service experience

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in customer service within service‑based, logistics, industrial, or refuse-related industries (preferred but not required)
  • Basic math, reading, and writing skills

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls and respond to customer requests
  • Provide detailed service information and resolve inquiries
  • Research and address customer concerns using internal computer systems
  • Follow up on issues that require additional investigation
  • Review and resolve billing questions and payment discrepancies
  • Transfer calls to the appropriate internal staff when needed
  • Maintain accurate call logs, reports, and documentation
  • Process customer orders and promote available services
  • Identify recurring issues and report trends to supervisors
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance customer experience
  • Assist in training and onboarding new customer service staff
  • Maintain consistent and punctual attendance
  • Perform additional duties based on evolving business needs
