About The Position

Cyara Test Automation Engineer Responsibilities: · Automation & Functional Testing · Design, create, and maintain Cyara automated test cases for IVR, call flows, and end‑to-end voice journeys. · Execute automated and manual test cycles using Cyara Pulse, Velocity, and Cruncher tools. · Validate IVR call routing, menu navigation, DTMF/speech recognition, backend integrations, and CTI behavior. · Identify defects, perform root‑cause analysis, and log issues in tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or ALM. · IVR Application Testing · Review IVR business requirements and call flow documentation. · Test Nuance/Genesys/Cisco/Avaya or similar IVR platforms for functionality, performance, and stability. · Validate voice prompts, announcements, grammar files, speech recognition accuracy, and failover scenarios. · Performance & Load Testing · Run Cyara load and stress test scenarios (Cruncher) to assess system scalability. · Analyze call performance metrics such as call quality, error rates, transfer accuracy, and system responsiveness. · Documentation & Reporting · Maintain test plans, test cases, execution results, and automation scripts. · Provide daily/weekly reports on test progress, defects, and automation coverage. Required Qualifications: Technical Skills 2–7+ years of experience in IVR testing and automation. Strong hands‑on experience with Cyara (Velocity, Pulse, Cruncher). Understanding of telephony technologies: SIP, RTP, CTI, ANI/CLI, VDN, trunking, call routing. Experience with IVR platforms such as: Genesys, Cisco CVP, Avaya, Nuance, Amazon Connect, etc. Knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST/SOAP). Familiar with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools. Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until 02/20/2026. The annual salary for this position is between $ 80,000– $ 130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans. Requirements
