The Cytology Processor's primary responsibility is to assist pre- analytical processes associated with specimen processing under the supervision and guidance of certified individuals in the clinical laboratory. This may include processing Cytology Non- Gynecological specimens, including, but not limited to data- entry, labeling, staining, coverslipping, maintaining lab organization and cleanliness, operation and maintenance of equipment, and adhering to quality control and quality assurance procedures. The Cytology Processor maintains flexibility with regard to work schedule including section assignment, daily work shift and days of the week as determined by business need. The schedule will be Full Time (Monday - Friday, 9:30am - 6:00pm) in our Austin lab. This position is eligible for pay differential for the regular Saturday shift.
