Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a behavioral health field (e.g., Counseling, Social Work, Psychology).
  • Must hold active PLPC or LMSW licensure (provisional or licensed master’s level clinician)
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience providing therapeutic services, preferably within a substance use treatment setting

Nice To Haves

  • Strong preference for experience supporting individuals with co-occurring (dual) diagnoses

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group therapy to individuals receiving substance use services, including those with co-occurring disorders.
  • Manage an assigned caseload, conducting assessments and tailoring treatment plans based on stage of change and clinical need.
  • Use motivational interviewing and de-escalation techniques to engage clients, including those who may be resistant to treatment.
  • Collaborate with case managers and the treatment team to coordinate care and support continuity of services.
  • Complete timely clinical documentation, monitor treatment progress, and maintain compliance with regulatory and program standards.
