About The Position

Reporting to the Assistant Director, Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer, the Business Data Analyst will support the organization’s needs for data analytics, business intelligence, and related metrics to inform decision-making, planning, and continuous improvement. Working with agency leadership, the Business Data Analyst provides technical and analytical support to departments and programs throughout Minuteman Senior Services blending clinical, financial and strategic information. Engages directly with business teams consisting of operations, finance, marketing, compliance and quality improvement. Develops visually understandable dashboards and reports that empower teams with valuable insights, decision support, and drive business change. Responsible for the design, development and programing of systems to consolidate and analyze data from multiple internal sources and to integrate unstructured, diverse sources to generate actionable solutions and communicate the organization’s value to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, finance, accounting, business administration, computer information, or related field.
  • Experience extracting and interpreting data from primary and secondary sources using ETL languages/tools applying statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
  • Experience working with stakeholders to prioritize business and information needs and creating technical requirements.
  • Must be able to present information that is easily interpretable by technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency with SQL as well as experience with programming languages such as R, Python
  • Experience building interactive dashboards, scorecards, dynamic reports, and other business intelligence objects using tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Python toolsets
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Applications such as Excel, Visio, Word, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills; must present strong attention to detail and time management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leveraging AI tools, like Co-pilot, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Data Strategy, Management, and Analysis Partners with senior leadership to sustain and expand the agency’s analytical metrics and infrastructure program
  • Designs and sustains a system for managing institutional knowledge accumulated across the organization.
  • Collaborates closely with key internal stakeholders on the analysis and reporting of data and/or information
  • Builds and executes data extraction, transfer and loading from various sources
  • Facilitates the transmission and understanding of data to enable fact-based decisions to various stakeholders such as Senior leadership, Program Managers, and the Board of Directors
  • Champions the metadata management and data quality assurance to ensure data accuracy, reliability and documentation
  • Provides reliable and well-timed data supporting strategic goal progress using defined key performance metrics, agency operations, financial management, quality improvement, compliance, and clinical value
  • Utilizes various software applications and reporting tools to deliver actionable information to decision-makers in a visually compelling in an understandable format.
  • Fosters internal and external collaboration to meet business objectives
  • Builds relationships and liaises with various internal departments to drive guidance, collaboration and project success including interacting with and responding appropriately to requests from multiple internal and/or external stakeholders
  • Support analytic skill building of business teams.
  • Works in collaboration with the Executive Office of Aging and Information technical teams and Aging Service Access Point partners to support technical system improvements, testing, and reporting for network-wide enhancements
