About The Position

As part of IPX Power’s Technology team, you’ll help keep the organization running smoothly by owning day-to-day IT systems administration and delivering reliable, high-quality support to employees. You’ll manage core systems, maintain secure and stable environments, and serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues—ensuring teammates have the tools and access they need to do their best work. This role blends hands-on technical execution with thoughtful user support. You’ll work independently on routine system administration while partnering with teammates to improve processes, strengthen security, and document scalable IT practices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in IT support and system administration roles
  • Experience supporting end users in a business or corporate environment
  • Proficiency with Windows and/or macOS operating systems
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including DNS and VPNs
  • Experience with software deployment, patching, and license management
  • Familiarity with cloud-based productivity platforms such as Google Workspace
  • Experience using ticketing systems and remote support tools; familiarity with Jira will help you succeed
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and commitment to documentation
  • Clear communication skills and a customer-focused mindset that builds trust with teammates
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a remote work environment

  • Exposure to basic scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python, or Apps Script) will help you succeed

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Windows and macOS systems to ensure stability, performance, and availability
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies across platforms such as Google Workspace
  • Perform regular system updates, patching, backups, and monitoring to maintain reliable environments
  • Resolve escalated support tickets and act as a technical escalation point when needed
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including device provisioning, access management, and basic training
  • Maintain clear documentation of issues, resolutions, and standard support procedures
  • Install, configure, update, and maintain operating systems and business applications
  • Manage software licenses, subscriptions, and compliance across the organization
  • Support SaaS platforms and internal tools used across teams
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and oversee device lifecycle management
  • Apply IT security best practices, including endpoint protection, access controls, and account hygiene
  • Assist with backups, disaster recovery planning, and incident response activities
  • Identify potential security risks and recommend practical, scalable improvements
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures and internal documentation
  • Identify opportunities to improve IT processes, automation, and overall system reliability
  • Provide guidance and basic training to end users on IT tools and best practices
