How You'll Make this Internship Opportunity Your Own Our Data Scientist/AI Engineer summer interns will work on a range of projects that align with their interests while contributing to our broader AI tooling efforts. In this role, interns will analyze internal and customer data and transform and prepare it for model training or metric capturing to support better decision-making and user experiences. Interns will also help build, package, and deploy solutions using modern engineering practices such as Python-based development, deep learning frameworks, and containerization tools. The ideal intern is a collaborative problem-solver who can clearly articulate technical challenges and solutions and is eager to learn, iterate, and deploy in a fast-moving environment. The Must-Haves Currently enrolled in an associate's, bachelor's or master's degree program in computer science, IT, engineering, or other STEM field from a United States-based college or university. Basic understanding of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, and Teams) What You'll Need to Deliver Your Best Every Day Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions. Experience working in a collaborative team environment. Intuitiveness with an ability to identify and solve complex problems related to rapidly changing technology. Knowledge of Python or other programming languages Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) Experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Podman) Interest in or experience with container orchestration platforms (e.g., Docker Compose, Kubernetes) Knowledge of statistical techniques Interest in data transformation, model selection, cross-validation, and deployment Problem solving and interest in big data. Requirements
