The Trade Deductions Analyst is responsible for analyzing, validating, and resolving customer deductions related primarily to trade promotions, marketing programs, compliance claims, and other trade‑related activities. This role ensures accuracy within accounts receivable by reviewing customer documentation, confirming deduction validity against approved promotional agreements, and disputing invalid deductions through customer portals or formal correspondence. The analyst collaborates closely with Sales to interpret promotional contracts, reconcile customer accounts, and support recovery of unauthorized or non‑compliant deductions. This position plays a key role in the Order-to-Cash (O2C) process by maintaining clean deduction aging, identifying trends that drive deductions, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to reduce future deduction volume.
