About The Position

Description Summary: The Default Services Operations Specialist I provides "Simply the Best" customer service at all times. Under minimum supervision, performs a variety of assignments that are moderately complex and require detailed knowledge of company and/or department procedures. We're looking for a self-starter who wants to grow with us! Our Approach to Office Workplace Type Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1-3 years of work experience in a processing type function.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, and the ability to type a minimum of 35 wpm required.
  • Excellent in customer service, highly motivated, focused, and goal oriented
  • Must have excellent written and verbal (face-to-face and phone) communication skills including professional grammar and demeanor
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning and follow-up
  • Ability to multi-task
  • PC and internet proficiency

Responsibilities

  • Handles assigned daily work queues that consist of collector requests.
  • Late Fee waivers
  • Repossession Forms
  • Payment adjustments
  • Payment research
  • Processes delinquency extensions/Issues delinquency letters to specific states
  • Processes incoming and outgoing mail
  • Handles email requests
  • Handles auto modification applications
  • Refers escalated accounts to manager
  • Performs other duties as assigned
