Requirements

Post-secondary certificate or degree in Dental Assisting or a related field, meeting TWC and ABHES standards.
Active certification or licensure recognized by state and accrediting agencies.
Demonstrated strong communication skills and a commitment to fostering student success.

Nice To Haves

1-2 years of professional experience in the dental field or instructional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver classroom and laboratory instruction that aligns with established course objectives and institutional standards.
Prepare and maintain instructional materials, equipment, and learning spaces to support effective teaching practices.
Monitor student attendance, maintain accurate academic records, and ensure timely submission of grades and evaluations.
