Requirements

Post-secondary certificate or degree in Dental Assisting or a related field, meeting TWC and ABHES standards.
Active certification or licensure recognized by state and accrediting agencies.
Exceptional communication skills with a demonstrated commitment to fostering student success.
Ability to adhere to institutional policies and maintain compliance with accreditation requirements.

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of professional experience in the dental field or prior instructional experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver classroom and laboratory instruction in alignment with established course objectives and institutional standards.
Prepare, maintain, and manage instructional equipment, materials, and learning spaces to ensure an optimal educational experience.
Monitor student attendance, maintain accurate academic records, and submit grades in a timely manner.
Adhere to lesson plans and syllabi to achieve instructional goals and learning outcomes.
Provide individualized tutoring and academic guidance to support student success and retention.
Participate actively in faculty meetings, training sessions, and professional development initiatives to enhance instructional effectiveness.
