About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable temporary Deposit Operations Representative (Lockbox) to join our Operations team. This role is responsible for processing incoming payments, ensuring accurate and timely posting of transactions, and maintaining the integrity of customer accounts. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or related coursework preferred
• Previous banking, operations, or payment processing experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
• Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Process and balance daily lockbox transactions, including checks, remittances, and electronic payments
• Open, sort, and prepare incoming mail for processing in accordance with established procedures
• Ensure accurate data entry and posting of transactions to customer accounts
• Identify and resolve discrepancies, exceptions, and processing errors
• Maintain compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Meet established productivity and quality standards
• Assist with research requests and provide support to internal departments as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive financial information
