About The Position

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to join Community Services & Employment Training, Inc. (CSET) as Deputy Director. In this role, you will work closely with the Executive Director to oversee daily operations, manage multiple departments, and ensure the successful implementation of strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, strategic planning, and organizational management skills, and is committed to providing high-quality, coordinated services to families and communities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of non-profit administration, budgeting, finance, and leadership principles.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and lead multiple teams effectively.
• Valid California Driver's License and proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Director in executing CSET's strategic plan and annual objectives.
• Supervise and provide leadership to departmental directors, including PSI & Internal Monitoring, Community Initiatives, Energy & Housing, Resource Development, and IT.
• Represent the organization in the absence of the Executive Director.
• Oversee operations, budgets, and performance metrics to ensure programmatic goals and contractual obligations are met.
• Develop and maintain relationships with funding sources, partners, and community stakeholders.
