We are currently seeking a Designer Lead to join the ISCO Digital and Design Team. This designer will be partnering with the Digital technical product managers and cross-functional team members for USAA’s investment advisory business, to research, design, test and firm up UI/UX solutions to enable the design and development of best-in-class member-experiences for investments. The Lead will have his/her own portfolio of work, directly responsible for leveraging USAA’s Reveille design system to adhere to all the Digital and Design Governance standards and will move with speed towards execution. The Design Lead will also be responsible for working across the ISCO design portfolio of work to help coach and guide the other design team members in areas of USAA design principles, design research, translating member-experience-journeys into design elements, Reveille standards etc. In addition, this ISCO Design Lead will also be the primary touchpoint of ISCO design team with the USAA Association, and responsible for bringing to the ISCO Design team any changes in Design systems or processes happening at the Association level in order to ensure that ISCO Design stays completely in sync with the Association. This role leads high-performing, cross-organizational teams by applying expert knowledge and experience in the practice of human-centered design. Synthesizes the work of multi-disciplinary teams to deliver a unified design vision for complex Member and Employee experiences in a data-informed, agile environment. Demonstrates the value of design by building trust-based relationships that drive the alignment of stakeholders across projects, teams, and functions. We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position will be based on the San Antonio, TX; Phoenix, AZ.; Colorado Springs, CO; Plano, TX; Chesapeake, VA. or Tampa, FL campus . Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
