About The Position

The Power Platform Developer is responsible for developing, deploying, and supporting solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, Copilot Studio, and Power Automate. This is a hands-on technical role focused on building secure, scalable, and user-friendly solutions using Microsoft’s Power Platform and emerging AI technologies. This role will work closely with the AI and Power Platform team and stakeholders on building solid solutions. They will also contribute to solution documentation, support, and knowledge sharing to ensure long-term sustainability and adoption. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Power Platform and adjacent Microsoft 365 technologies.     Scope:  The role fits into the organization by providing global support and development for Power Platform solutions, impacting shore and fleet operations. Problem solving:  The role solves complex business problems by designing and implementing secure, scalable solutions using Power Platform tools, often under ambiguous requirements and multiple constraints such as governance, performance, and integration. This requires analyzing data, anticipating risks, and applying structured problem-solving methods to deliver sustainable solutions that align with enterprise standards. Impact:  This role has a broad impact across the organization by delivering solutions that enhance operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making for both shore and fleet operations. In addition to building solutions, this role helps define and enforce standards for Power Platform development, governance, and best practices, influencing how the organization adopts and scales low-code and AI-driven technologies.     Leadership: This role has no direct reports but leads through influence—guiding cross‑functional teams (business, IT, vendors) via a dotted-line model across the full delivery lifecycle, including scoping, prioritization, execution, and change management for shore and fleet initiatives. The developer steward’s platform standards and governance, mentor's citizen developers, coordinates resources and schedules, and advises on and monitors budgets for licenses, environments, and solution operations to ensure value, compliance, and sustainable adoption.
