Penn State is currently seeking a Development Assistant in supporting the College of Education . As a member of the Division of Development and Alumni Relations, you can play an integral role in Penn State’s future and contribute to one of the most successful fundraising and alumni relations operations in the country. Reporting to the Director of Development and Alumni Relations and working closely with the Stewardship Coordinator, Office of Prospect Management & Analytics, the College of Education's Office of the Dean, as well as other partners, this Development Assistant will: Assist in the development, coordination, and execution of the College of Education’s fundraising strategies, programs, and activities Assist in the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and/or stewardship of current and potential philanthropic prospects Manage the tracking of proposals through the drafting, DDAR approval, delivery, and closure stages Manage acknowledgment systems, maintain records and files Assist the Stewardship Coordinator with special events, scholarship application and awarding processes, and other critical stewardship activities Liaise between University Development office and the College of Education Articulate Penn State’s needs, ambitions, and values through excellent informal and formal communications The ability to create and maintain an inclusive and respectful environment for all students and colleagues Assist in development and production of communication tools and reports DDAR is supportive of flexible work arrangements when aligned with the ability to meet the needs of the unit and the essential duties of the position.
