About The Position

As a Digital Advertising Intern with Push Digital Group, you’ll work side-by-side with members of our advertising team on live campaigns that drive measurable results for political, brand, and advocacy clients, while building real-world skills in paid media strategy, execution, and analytics. Here’s a snapshot of what you may accomplish during your time as a Digital Advertising Intern: Campaign Performance Support: Help monitor campaign pacing, audience engagement, creative performance, and platform delivery across digital advertising channels. Reporting & Analysis: Assist in building performance reports and learn how to analyze results, identify trends, and contribute to strategic recommendations for campaign improvement. Budget & Spend Tracking: Support the team in organizing and maintaining accurate advertising budgets and platform spend records. Creative & Messaging Collaboration: Work with internal teams to understand best practices in messaging, targeting, and creative strategy for persuasion-focused campaigns. Digital Strategy Exposure: Gain hands-on insight into how paid media supports broader marketing and advocacy strategies for political and issue-based clients. What sorts of skills and experience should you bring to a Digital Advertising Internship? Most importantly, we look for interns with a positive, proactive attitude who take a “run, not walk” approach to supporting both clients and teammates. Here are some of the other things we value in our Digital Advertising Interns (don’t have all of these? We still encourage you to apply): Basic experience with digital ad platforms such as The Trade Desk, Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram), and Google Ads, including a foundational understanding of how campaigns are set up, structured, and launched. Proficiency in spreadsheets, including Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, with comfort working with data, budgets, and performance metrics. Organized, self-starting team player who can prioritize, multi-task, maintain a professional demeanor, and has a desire to grow in the role. Flexibility and ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment, often under tight deadlines. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion for confidential work, information, and sensitive situations. Strong attention to detail.
