About The Position

This position will report to the Senior Manager of Digital Enterprise (DE), D405. The Program Manager for Digital Data Quality will lead the digital data governance strategy for the Digital Enterprise (DE) Organization and Program. This position will be responsible for planning, execution and oversight of the DE Quality strategy to support Electric Boat’s digital transformation plan. This includes implementing improvements and planning for growth to support current and future programs. This position will oversee the work of at least four supervisors and representatives throughout the Business Areas and EBIT. The primary responsibilities for this position include: Develop, implement and maintain a digital data governance strategy Establish and enforce data management policies and procedures Define data owners, stewardship and accountability structures Collaborate with EBIT and Cyber to implement and maintain tools and technologies Proactively identify, plan and manage critical and complex projects, interfacing closely with internal and external customers Working collaboratively in a team environment, and interfacing with various design and engineering departments, planning, purchasing, operations, EBIT, subcontractors including Newport News Shipbuilding, and NAVSEA Development of personnel through training and mentoring, preservation of critical technical skills and knowledge, cost and schedule management as well as performance and resource management The successful candidate will have a high-level understanding of Electric Boat’s design/build and maintenance processes, from concept design through certification, delivery and lifecycle support. The candidate should have demonstrated experience in managing people with a focus on creating a very high-performing organization, leading and/or supervising teams, managing complex projects. The candidate must be a strong leader providing clear direction to motivate and develop team members, as well as have a proven track record of professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 8+ years of experience in DE, EBIT, Program Office, and/or Process Improvement
  • 4+ years of supervisory experience
  • Experience with data analysis and quality reporting systems
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance through the Department of Defense
  • Strong demonstrated leadership skills
  • Strong presentation and communication (both verbal and written) skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Customer-focused
  • Self-motivated and results oriented
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically while acting tactically to execute multiple projects concurrently
