About The Position

At Moody's, we unite the brightest minds to turn today’s risks into tomorrow’s opportunities. We do this by striving to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to be who they are—with the freedom to exchange ideas, think innovatively, and listen to each other and customers in meaningful ways. Moody’s is transforming how the world sees risk. As a global leader in ratings and integrated risk assessment, we’re advancing AI to move from insight to action—enabling intelligence that not only understands complexity but responds to it. We decode risk to unlock opportunity, helping our clients navigate uncertainty with clarity, speed, and confidence. If you are excited about this opportunity but do not meet every single requirement, please apply! You still may be a great fit for this role or other open roles. We are seeking candidates who model our values: invest in every relationship, lead with curiosity, champion diverse perspectives, turn inputs into actions, and uphold trust through integrity. The GBD (Global Business Director) serves as a strategic enterprise relationship leader responsible for aligning Moody’s capabilities to the medium‑ and long‑term needs of major global customers. This role builds and executes the global account strategy while driving financial, strategic, and operational outcomes for both Moody’s and the customer. Acting as the ultimate voice of the customer internally, the GBD leads cross‑functional virtual teams, brokers complex enterprise‑level deals, and anticipates emerging trends impacting customer strategy. A position is available to manage customers within the Insurance industry — a major opportunity to scale Moody’s enterprise engagement. This role will identify, develop, and execute opportunities across the Insurance ecosystem by partnering deeply across Moody’s and with senior customer stakeholders. The Global Business Director team serves Moody’s most strategic customers and represents the highest level of enterprise relationship leadership within the organization. GBDs operate across business lines, geographies, and product areas to deliver holistic, enterprise‑wide value. For Insurance, the opportunity is significant: the team is positioned to deepen Moody’s footprint, elevate customer partnerships to the C‑suite level, and drive complex global deals that align Moody’s full suite of capabilities with the evolving needs of insurers, reinsurers, and brokers. The team collaborates across Relationship Management, Product, Marketing, Sales, and senior Moody’s executives to drive meaningful and strategic growth.
