About The Position

We're looking for a Director, HR Business Partner to shape the HR strategy in our global distribution center and logistics network. You will build long-range organization, talent, culture, and DE&I strategy, develop great leaders and leadership bench, and support a workforce to meet the needs of a flourishing business, with union partnership as an essential element. About the Job Lead HR for Distribution & Logistics globally, including our owned and operated DC network in the U.S., Canada, Latin America, and Europe; serve as U.S. network HR lead Manage HR teams on the ground in our facilities Be a strategic expert and partner to executive leadership as we scale our network and future-focused capabilities to allow our aspirations Set multi-year plans to maximize the org, talent, culture, and DE&I to enable our business strategy and goals Collaborate with business leaders to identify and deploy creative workforce and talent solutions to essential challenges for the Distribution Centers Driver of LS&Co. HR programs and people lifecycle in the DCs to include talent acquisition, development and planning, succession planning, employee engagement, diversity, employee relations and total rewards Co-owns the union relationship including negotiations to build a strategic partnership that enables the achievement of business goals. Includes deep understanding of the relationship, managing of contract negotiations, and implementation of all elements of the agreement Promote DC performance through organizational effectiveness work while being an advocate of change—including org design to improve our operating excellence Build great leaders at all levels with a focus on manager capability and accountability Workforce planning to ensure talent acquisition partners meet hiring targets Build a respectful, inclusive workplace culture that represents and builds accountability for the LS&Co. values Ensure DCs are in compliance with local employment laws and regulations and respond as appropriate to regulatory agencies; implement procedures and programs related to labor relations Use data and analytics to guide accountability and performance

Requirements

  • Dynamic HR leader with 10+ years of experience to include hourly workforce (preferably distribution centers) with union experience essential
  • Experience setting and implementing multi-year org, talent, and culture strategies with measurable results
  • Proven experience leading large-scale change, ideally in scaling an organization and business operation
  • Proven use of workforce analytics and business metrics to inform strategy and priorities
  • Consulting, influencing & coaching skills essential
  • Drive for efficiency through simplification and streamlining
  • Willing to travel, up to 40%
