DESCRIPTION: As HR Director at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will be a strategic business partner supporting organizational success through effective people strategies. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll translate business objectives into actionable HR initiatives that help build and retain a talented, diverse workforce. You'll guide organizational development efforts across global teams, facilitate change management, and cultivate an inclusive culture built on our 4i values (Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement). This position requires a thoughtful approach to talent management, using data-driven insights to enhance business capabilities while maintaining a positive workplace culture. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on complex HR matters, from performance management to organizational design, supporting business growth through effective people strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 8 years of experience in comprehensive HR experience in large multinational organizations, with demonstrated success as an HR business partner
  • Ability to translate business strategies into effective HR solutions and organizational actions
  • Experience building and leading teams in a global matrix environment
  • Strong knowledge of HR functions including talent acquisition, total rewards, organizational development, and employee relations
  • Demonstrated success implementing change management initiatives and organizational design solutions
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, PPI)
  • Advanced project management, analytical, and data interpretation skills
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • Business acumen with ability to link HR strategies to business outcomes
  • Expertise in contemporary HR practices and employment law
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and demonstrate high emotional intelligence
  • Demonstrated ability to advise and coach senior leaders
  • Travel up to 25-30% internationally as needed
