As the Director of Aftermarket Operations, you will be a key member of our leadership team, reporting directly to the Vice President of Retail Operations. Your primary responsibility will be to provide strategic and operational leadership for our Outlet Store and Operations/Logistics areas. Your leadership will be essential in achieving our sales goals, maximizing salvage operations, and promoting our commitment to becoming a zero-waste organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or a minimum of five years of retail management experience.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on promoting excellence and service.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
  • Computer proficiency in various software applications.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Positive attitude and emotional intelligence.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and maneuver items over 40 pounds with assistance.
  • Comfortable working in indoor environments with occasional exposure to outside temperatures.
  • Ability to work around occupational allergens, including dust, animal hair, and perfumes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and supervise all outlet store and logistics/operations within your purview, ensuring both long- and short-term goals are achieved.
  • Conduct regular on-site visits to audit and provide guidance to staff, ensuring adherence to standards and procedures.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Monitor and facilitate donation acquisition activities to ensure an adequate supply of goods.
  • Implement and promote "One Touch" processing and data-driven metrics to drive organizational growth.
  • Collaborate with HR on employee development, training, and performance management.
  • Provide recommendations for annual departmental budgets.
  • Promote and ensure a clean, safe, and healthy work environment.
