With locations nationwide and in select international markets, we serve the Commercial, Public, Industrial, and Power markets. We are currently recruiting a Director of Waterproofing Solutions business in North America. The role focuses on helping building and infrastructure owners manage the service life of existing civil infrastructure through developing, producing, and delivering waterproofing solutions. It includes managing client relationships and project pursuits while working with a multidisciplined internal team including engineering and construction operations. This is a client interface position that requires travel to customers, branches, and project sites, anticipated to be 50%. Branch locations within the territory include Denver, Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Texas, and Seattle. Reactive support is also included for branches outside the Western region. Activities that are part of the role: Building, maintaining, and growing relationships with Commercial/Public owners, engineers, consultants and contractors through one-to-one meetings, presentations, etc. Identifying and developing project opportunities targeting advanced waterproofing solutions. Facilitating project opportunities through local branch teams – interfacing with engineering and providing technical support. Providing direct technical support as needed to support waterproofing project operations in the Western Region, and remote support in the Eastern Region. Attending and/or presenting at select and relevant industry conferences and trade shows. Actively participating in relevant and select industry associations. On an as-requested basis: Provide assistance with project estimating and participate in estimate reviews as needed. Support branch teams with proposal development and submission. Deliver training programs for field crews, Project Managers (PMs), and Business Development Managers (BDMs) to enhance technical and operational capabilities. Collaborate with Inside Sales on public projects requiring advanced waterproofing solutions. Develop new scopes and technologies, including, but not limited to: Moisture vapor transmission solutions for slab-on-grade systems. This can also include mitigation of petroleum vapor mitigation, methane, and chlorinated solvents, BTEX (benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene) and other PAHs (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon). More of this type of work is being done, as more building are being built on brownfield’s which require a vapor mitigation system. Expanded use of the Interior French Drain system, with the possibility of ST branding. Possibility of developing a ST branded line of waterproof grouts.
