We are seeking a Director of Engineering to lead our resort's Engineering and Maintenance operations. This high-impact role ensures our property operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all standards, while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Requirements

6+ years in engineering/maintenance leadership, with at least 5 years of supervisory experience.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) and valid driver's license required.
Strong technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems.
Skilled in vendor management, budgeting, and capital planning.
Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and respond decisively in emergencies.
Proven leadership and team development skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations, preventative maintenance, and repair of all resort systems, equipment, and grounds.
Lead and mentor the Engineering team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and service excellence.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, fire, health, and environmental codes.
Direct capital improvement projects, vendor contracts, and renovation initiatives.
Manage departmental budgets, inventory, and purchasing.
Oversee advanced pool operations including filtration, heating, chemical dosing, and compliance.
Respond quickly to service requests and ensure guest areas remain safe and functional.
Represent the Engineering department in leadership meetings and as Manager on Duty.
