About The Position

The Director, Executive Administrator, Board, and Executive Operations provides strategic leadership and oversight for executive administrative support and Board governance operations. This role leads a high-performing team responsible for supporting senior management and the Board of Directors, ensuring seamless meeting execution, strong governance practices, and exceptional administrative excellence. The Director serves as a trusted partner to executives, Board leadership, and key stakeholders, balancing precision, discretion, and strategic thinking while enabling effective decision-making at the highest levels of the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or another relevant field.
  • 8+ years of administrative support or relevant experience.
  • 3+ years' supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Organizational ability, interpersonal skills, discretion, judgment, and initiative.
  • Moral character--handle sensitive and confidential information with tact and diplomacy.
  • Able to analyze problems and take effective action or make appropriate recommendations.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and handle changing priorities based on business needs.
  • Able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to develop relationships across a diverse coworker base while establishing trust and credibility with managers at all levels and across Development.
  • Demonstrates an orientation towards customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Executive Administration Leadership: Lead, develop, and manage a team of executive and administrative professionals supporting senior leaders and organizational priorities
  • Establish consistent, repeatable standards, processes, and best practices for executive administrative support across the organization
  • Ensure proactive calendar management, meeting coordination, materials preparation, and follow-up for management, taking into account each executive's requests and needs
  • Anticipate management's needs and organizational priorities to enable efficient use of management's time
  • Foster a positive and ethical culture of professionalism, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team
  • Board Governance and Support: Oversee all administrative and operational aspects of Board of Directors and Board Committee support, including meeting planning, agendas, materials, logistics, and minutes
  • Partner closely with the Chair, Committee Chairs, CEO, and Legal to ensure effective Board governance and compliance with bylaws, policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and secure distribution of Board materials and maintain official Board records securely
  • Support onboarding, education, and ongoing engagement of Board members
  • Partner with Legal to maintain calendars and ensure alignment with strategic, regulatory, and fiduciary obligations
  • Strategy and Efficiency: Evaluate and improve administrative and governance processes to increase efficiency, consistency, and scalability, especially during periods of change
  • Ensure confidentiality related to executive and Board materials
  • Ensure no single points of failure exist in processes
  • Stakeholder Partnership and Communication: Serve as key liaison among management, Board members, administrative staff, and internal partners
  • Provides sound judgment, discretion, and diplomacy in sensitive high-stakes situations
  • Represent executive administration functions with credibility and professionalism across the enterprise
  • Staff Leadership\Management: Provide feedback, guidance, mentoring, training, and leadership. Support staff development plans through regular coaching dialogs. Handle supervisory duties such as approving time off, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
  • Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Wings policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.
