About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Finance. The Director of Finance is responsible for the strategic financial leadership and oversight of all accounting and financial operations for the hotel, including the condominium rental program. This position ensures accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, owner accounting, and effective financial management of hotel and rental operations. The Director of Finance partners with executive leadership to support profitability, asset protection, and long-term financial planning while maintaining transparency and trust with condominium owners participating in the rental program. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
  • 5–7+ years of progressive accounting or finance leadership experience in hospitality.
  • Experience with condominium hotel or rental program accounting strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and hospitality financial reporting.
  • Experience with property management systems and accounting software.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to leadership and condominium owners.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or advanced financial certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all accounting and financial operations for the hotel and condominium rental program.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
  • Manage accounting processes related to condominium owner revenue distributions, statements, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of rental revenue, management fees, housekeeping charges, and maintenance allocations related to owner units.
  • Develop annual operating budgets, capital budgets, and financial forecasts for hotel and rental operations.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide analysis of variances, revenue trends, and cost controls.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company financial policies.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and general ledger accounting.
  • Maintain internal controls and financial procedures to safeguard company and owner assets.
  • Coordinate annual audits and support tax preparation with external auditors and accountants.
  • Partner with the General Manager and department leaders to support operational and financial decision-making.
  • Monitor reserve funds, capital expenditures, and long-term asset planning.
  • Ensure timely preparation of financial reports required by ownership, management companies, and condominium associations.
  • Oversee financial aspects of homeowner association (HOA) interactions related to the rental program when applicable.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting and finance team.
