Requirements

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and at least seven years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or technology leadership, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • You have at least five years of experience in management and leadership.
  • You have experience managing cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365, Azure, or similar systems.
  • You have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and data protection practices.
  • You have experience managing technology vendors, contracts, and technology implementation projects.
  • You demonstrate a personal relationship with Jesus Chris and a commitment to living out a Christ-centered lifestyle consistent with PRM's Statement of Faith.
  • You are able to translate technical information into clear communication that supports staff across departments.
  • You approach technology leadership with integrity, stewardship, and a service-oriented mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in nonprofit, healthcare, or mission-driven organizations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance requirements is preferred.
  • Experience supporting CRM platforms, program data systems, or enterprise reporting tools is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • You will lead the strategy, security, and daily operations of Phoenix Rescue Mission’s technology environment to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable systems that support ministry programs and staff.
  • You will oversee the organization’s technology infrastructure including networks, servers, cloud systems, endpoints, and collaboration platforms.
  • You will ensure the reliable operation of core technology platforms including Microsoft 365, identity management systems, and communication tools.
  • You will lead cybersecurity efforts including risk management, monitoring, and incident response while strengthening the organization’s security posture.
  • You will maintain compliance with applicable data privacy and security regulations including HIPAA, PCI, and other relevant frameworks.
  • You will oversee access control, data protection policies, and auditing practices to safeguard organizational data.
  • You will ensure the integrity, availability, and governance of key organizational data systems.
  • You will partner with program and leadership teams to improve data reporting, dashboards, and analytics that strengthen decision-making.
  • You will develop and execute a multi-year technology roadmap aligned with organizational priorities and future growth.
  • You will evaluate and implement technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
  • You will manage relationships with external technology vendors and service providers while overseeing procurement and contract evaluations.
  • You will lead technology planning for new facilities, program expansions, and infrastructure growth.
  • You will develop and manage the annual IT budget while maintaining lifecycle management of technology assets.
  • You will provide leadership and direction to IT staff or contractors and serve as a trusted technology advisor to executive leadership.
  • You will train and support staff in effective and secure use of organizational technology.
  • You will lead or participate in devotions, prayers, or other organization activities that promote a credible Christian witness and lifestyle.
