About The Position

Timpte is looking for a Director of Marketing to join our team! This role will split time between our manufacturing locations in Lincoln, NE and David City, NE. The Director of Marketing will build, lead, and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns, brand positioning, and e-commerce strategies, that position Timpte’s existing and new products and brands for long-term profitable growth. They will also lead Timpte Product Managers to ensure our products consider VoC, VoM and overall competitive landscape to support NPD projects and targeted sales and profitability objectives. Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Experience: 15+ years in marketing, with at least 3-5 years specifically in D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) or B2C e-commerce, preferably in a company that transitioned from B2B to B2C.
  • Product Launch Expertise: Proven track record of launching new, physical consumer products.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with experience in Google Analytics, CRM platforms, and performance dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
  • Leadership: Experience hiring and leading high-performing teams and contracting work from third-party firms.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Highly resourceful, creative, and proactive, with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, insurable driving record and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Build and manage a high-performing multi-disciplined marketing & product management team.
  • Act as a key liaison amongst several cross-functional departments to ensure new product launches are aligned with technical roadmaps and business goals.
  • Manage the annual marketing budget, allocating both company resources and third-party marketing firms efficiently across channels to achieve targeted ROI.
  • Strategic Product Launches & Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategies:
  • Develop compelling product positioning, messaging, and storytelling that translates our numerous product and service offerings into compelling value propositions.
  • Own the end-to-end GTM strategy for multiple new direct-to-consumer (DTC) product launches, ensuring timely and impactful market entry. Conduct market research to identify target personas, competitor gaps, and pricing strategies for the DTC segment.
  • Digital Advertising & E-commerce Sales Growth:
  • Drive user acquisition, retention, and revenue through, but not limited to, paid search (SEM), social media marketing (Meta, TikTok), and email marketing.
  • Oversee the e-commerce user experience (Shopify/Magento), ensuring high conversion rates, seamless shopping, and optimized product pages.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to optimize CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost) and LTV (Lifetime Value).
  • Monitor and report on KPIs, such as revenue growth, conversion rates, and customer acquisition and retention.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Leadership Team or required by the position.
