About The Position

The Staff Pad has partnered with a hospital in Helena, Montana to hire a Director of Materials Management. This full-time role provides leadership and strategic direction for the Materials Management Department, overseeing procurement, inventory, equipment distribution, and value analysis initiatives across the hospital and clinics. The Director ensures compliance with regulations, manages budgets, develops operational plans, and serves as a resource for materials management issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as a Materials Management Director in healthcare.
• Knowledge of acute care regulations and compliance standards.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong planning and analytical skills to support strategic initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships across clinical and operational teams.
• Commitment to continuous learning and operational excellence.

Nice To Haves

• Professional certification in materials/supply management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement, standardization, and distribution of supplies and equipment.
• Manage department budget, inventory counts, and operational planning.

• Ensure compliance with CMS, federal, and state regulations.
• Facilitate HR processes and foster a collaborative team environment.
