About The Position

The Director of Membership Sales is responsible for driving membership growth, retention, and overall member experience for the club. This role leads strategic sales initiatives, manages the membership pipeline, and collaborates across departments to ensure a seamless and elevated member journey from prospects through long-term engagement. The Director serves as a key ambassador of the club’s brand, culture, and value proposition.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales, membership, hospitality, or club experience
  • Proven record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals
  • Strong consultative sales and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and member events as needed
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

  • Drive membership sales and achieve annual revenue target
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through close
  • Conduct tours and deliver a high-touch prospect experience
  • Oversee new member onboarding and integration
  • Develop and execute retention and engagement strategies
  • Maintain and report on CRM pipeline, forecasts, and KPIs
  • Collaborate with Residential Sales, Golf, F&B and Marketing teams
  • Support membership events, promotions, and outreach efforts
  • Monitor market trends and competitive positioning
  • Ensure accurate membership records and compliance
  • Smile and greet every member and guest, especially when they’re in proximity.
  • Provide quick and efficient service.
  • Remember member’s names and use them often in interactions.
  • Offer assistance and provide options to guests.
  • Emphasize creating a positive member experience and building lasting connections by thanking our members and inviting them back.
