POSITION OVERVIEW: T he Director of Nursing will be responsible for: : Overseeing the overall quality of care throughout the facility. Leading, developing, and motivating a team-oriented nursing staff . Ensuring full compliance with Federal, State, and Department of Health (DOH) regulations. Fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment with the backing of a strong and experienced management team. Requirements
- Must have several years (minimum 0f 4-5 years) of nursing leadership experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting.
- Active NY RN license
Nice To Haves
- Supervisory experience in a large nursing facility (250 + beds) preferred
- A proven track record of nursing team development and mentorship.
- In-depth understanding of clinical operations, regulatory compliance.
- Experience preparing and leading DOH surveys
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
