About The Position

The Director of Operations serves as the operational integrator for MIRATECH's Tulsa-based functions, aligning internal manufacturing, external manufacturing, planning/project coordination, inventory management, and external assembly & catalyst loading to deliver predictable, scalable execution. Reporting to the VP of Operations, this leader partners closely with Engineering, Procurement, Quality, and Safety to elevate operational discipline, strengthen cross-functional alignment, and increase confidence in delivery commitments as MIRATECH continues to grow. The role also represents Tulsa Operations in interactions with key suppliers, customers, and end users when operational alignment, technical execution, or delivery performance discussions are required.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience in manufacturing.
  • Experience leading multi-functional operations including planning, production, inventory, and supplier coordination.
  • Demonstrated success integrating internal and outsourced production models.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and conflict resolution capability.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating in ISO-driven environments preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering preferred
  • Systems-oriented leader who naturally integrates teams and functions.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership & Integration Lead structured operating cadence across Tulsa functions to ensure alignment from job release through shipment.
  • Serve as escalation owner for execution risks, driving timely cross-functional resolution.
  • Reinforce clear ownership, accountability, and proactive issue management across operational teams.
  • Strengthen coordination between Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Quality to maintain execution continuity.
  • Capacity Governance & Delivery Performance Govern internal and outsourced allocation decisions to optimize throughput and delivery performance.
  • Align forecasted capacity with execution performance within the established planning horizon, reducing variability and reactive adjustments.
  • Improve confidence in delivery commitments through disciplined scheduling and resource alignment.
  • Provide leadership visibility into capacity risks and mitigation plans.
  • Third-Party Fabrication Strategy Execute third-party fabrication scaling strategy in alignment with growth objectives.
  • Maintain visibility into supplier capacity, readiness, and performance risk.
  • Partner with Procurement and Quality to reinforce supplier accountability and execution standards.
  • Support consistent work instruction and documentation discipline across external partners.
  • Internal Operations & Inventory Management Lead internal assembly, warehouse execution, and material flow to support reliable production performance.
  • Elevate inventory management practices to ensure material readiness and scheduling stability.
  • Reinforce structured cycle counting and inventory accuracy accountability.
  • Align warehouse priorities with production needs to improve responsiveness.
  • Order Fulfillment (Planning, Scheduling, Project Coordination) Ensure planning, scheduling, and project coordination function as an integrated system supporting predictable execution.
  • Reinforce job readiness standards and gating expectations in partnership with Engineering and Procurement.
  • Maintain schedule integrity by aligning priorities, constraints, and delivery commitments.
  • Support ongoing development of planning processes, roles, and capability.
  • External Assembly & Catalyst Loading Lead execution performance across external assembly and catalyst loading operations.
  • Align staffing, throughput, and standard work to meet delivery and quality expectations.
  • Strengthen coordination between production, external manufacturing, and assembly readiness.
  • Build a foundation for future growth and specialization as product lines evolve.
  • ISO Maturity & Operational Discipline Reinforce adherence to ISO standards through documentation discipline and audit readiness.
  • Promote consistent execution behaviors that strengthen traceability and repeatability.
  • Partner with shared services to embed compliance expectations into daily operations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that elevate operational maturity.
